Description
The CW Series of CHMER Wire EDMs are the most affordable ball screw drive models. These are available in both non-submerged (F) Flushing styles, as well as the fully submerged (S) Submerged style. The F models allow for large work pieces that can protrude beyond the worktable area. Large aerospace rings, brushes, gears can all be cut using an optional B-axis that can be driven by the standard 6-axis CNC control on all CHMER Wire EDMs. True "turn and burn" is available.
Both the F and S models can be equipped with Fagor glass scales that give true closed loop positional feedback to the Panasonic AC servo motors and drivers.
The unique AWT allows for threading very small start holes, plus it can rethread a broken wire on location, under water and through the narrow kerf in 10 seconds! It is 99% reliable and very low maintenance as there are only five moving parts. True automation requires a reliable AWT system that you can depend on.
Water Chiller included as standard.
Installation and On-site Training are included.
