Point Technologies has purchased eight EDM machines from EDM Network, and we have been pleased with each transaction. We recently acquired two new Chmer wire EDM machines, not only because of the competitive price point, but because they were the only machines we tested that could auto thread through a 0.015” start hole consistently and reliably. Our applications demand this kind of repeatability, and I would personally recommend the Chmer WEDM to anyone looking for a versatile, capable, and straightforward machine tool.

Jack's Machine Company is an EDM job shop that has been in business for over 20 years. In that time we have owned several type's of EDM's on the market including Brothers, Charmilles, Japax, Mitsubishi and Fanuc wire edms. We started buying the new Chmer edms in 2000 and now have 3 of their wires and 2 edm drillers. We find that the Chmer wires are every bit as fast and accurate as all of the other brands but what we really like about them is their low operating costs and super reliability. Plus, if we have a question, we can always reach someone; a rarity these days!

In addition to all of the above, the Chmer wire threader is the fastest and most reliable AWT in the market and takes the least maintenance not to mention that the wear parts for the AWT are usually under $25. there is nothing you can buy from the other guys for $25!

In todays economic environment it rare to find a company that stands behind the products they sell and represent. Our purchase of a Chmer CM323Z-EZ50 was a quality addition to our EDM department. We have been quite impressed with the surface finishes we have been able to produce, the accuracy and reliability of the machine. We however had programming requirements we expected, that the machine at purchase was not capable of. We contacted EDM Network about our concerns, which you assured us would be corrected. There are many companies that sell machinery, that make promises, which are conveniently forgotten or inform there clients, that it can be corrected for an additional cost . EDM Network and it's staff is NOT one of those companies. Edm Network delivered a quality machine and followed up with superior service, addressing and correcting ALL of our issues. I would personally like to thank Larry Mc Namee for his persistence to service and Edm Network.
