President

EDM Network President - New or Refurbished EDMs EDM Network, Inc. is owned by Ron Vogel who got his start in machine tools with Andrew Engineering in 1965. Andrew started in their EDM program in 1972 and EDM is all we’ve done since then. We have manufactured New EDMs, New and Used EDMs, and ran our own EDM job shop.

We understand the market and the customer’s requirements when purchasing his first or additional EDM. We prefer to sell the EDM to fit the customer’s application and not necessarily the machine that is ready to ship. Because we sell to the application we maintain a large inventory to address the specific needs, whatever they are: low cost, small footprint, submerged, auto wire threading, etc. We want to offer the EDM that fits your application and budget.

Ron spent thirteen years at Andrew, followed by 14 years with Japax, Sodick and Charmilles EDM. For the last 14 years we have focused in providing the best value in both new and refurbished EDMs.

Larry McNamee
General Manager/Service Manager

Larry has over 30 years of EDM experience. He has 10 years of experience operating EDM equipment at Elizabeth Carbide, 13 years of experience at AGIE in service and applications and 8 years of service and support on Chmer, Charmilles Andrew, Japax, Sodick and Brother EDMs.

Joel Nielsen
Service & Training Technician

Joel, a certified electrician, has 26 years in Japax and Sodick service, plus he has cross –trained on Chmer, Charmilles, Charmilles Andrew EDMs.

In addition, Joel is an EDM software trainer on BobCad, Vector, Sodick and Japax EDM programming.

Claudia Gaytan

Claudia has been with EDM Network since 1999. She is now responsible for all machine deliveries, office management and sales in Mexico, Central and South America. Coming from an Administrative background she is now very conversant in EDM speak! She with the help of our technicians can assist you with your technical questions in Spanish.

Kevin
Parts, Tooling & Service Coordinator

Kevin has been with EDM Network since 2004. Coming from a customer service background, he is responsible for our Parts Department. He is ready to assist you with any parts and tooling for Chmer, Sodick, Japax, and Agie.
For our Charmilles, Charmilles Andrew and Brother EDM customers, feel free to contact Kevin and he will work with our technician to help you with any parts questions.

Craig Smith
Technician

Craig started at EDM Network in 1997. Coming from a mechanical background he is our most experience EDM refurber and technician specializing in Japax, Brother, Sodick and the new Chmer Hole Drillers. Craig also installs any machine and can train on any Japax and Brother EDMs.

Sean McNamee
Technician

Sean has been with EDM Network since 2004. Starting as a part time while attending classes at Devry Technical Institute. He has been full time since graduation. Sean has knowledge of the Japax, Sodick and Chmer Sinker and Driller EDMs.

Felipe Altamirano
Technician

Felipe has been with EDM Network since 2004. Coming from a mechanical background he has been trained to refurb Agie, Sodick and Japax EDMs. He is learning fast with hopes of supporting our Mexico, Central and South America customers in Spanish.

Larry Wetmore
Technician

Larry has over 28 years in edm including running his own wire EDM job shop. He has experience with Agie, Sodick and Japax EDMs and can provide technical support to the Chmer edms as well as Sodicks.
