LINEAR
GLASS SCALES
 EDM
Network and CHMER
EDM announce the introduction
of their new Linear Glass Scale
option to their complete line of
wire EDMs.
Effective
immediately all of their new model
CW-420HS, CW-530HS, CW-640HS, CW-850HS
and CW-1065HS wire EDMs will be available
with optional Fagor .5mm (20 millionths)
resolution Linear Glass Scales. In
addition to making the table positioning
a full closed-loop system for improved
accuracy, the Linear Glass Scales
will help assure long term accuracy
as ball screws eventually wear.
The
Fagor Linear Glass Scales have been
used on all the CHMER CNC EDM sinker
EDMs for the last five years and
come standard on the CNC sinkers.

WORLD'S

 EDM
Network and CHMER EDM announce
the introduction of their latest version
3.0 Automatic Wire Threader . In addition
to being the only AWT on the market that
can rethread a broken wire, on
location and underwater , the
new 3.0 version AWT will draw, anneal,
melt off the tip of the wire, and rethread
- all in under seven seconds!
This
new dry type AWT will save time well
beyond the seven second rethread
time by not having to go back to
the start point, which on a large
profile could be a long way, drain
the work tank, rethread, dry run
back to the break point, refill the
work tank, and only then resume cutting.
