EDM Network President Ron Vogel has an EDM pedigree that establishes him as one of our industries most experienced professionals. While working his way through college at the University of Minnesota Ron took a part-time job with Andrew Engineering, where he cut his teeth on EDM. After graduating in 1969, Ron stayed at Andrew and was part of the team that developed the first commercially available American-made Wire EDM. After his time at Andrew, Ron worked at Japax, Sodick and Charmilles gaining experience and expertise in EDM.
