1. Machine Tool is disassembled down to the table base riding on the X-Y ways with ball screws exposed. Clean and lube ways and ball screws. Remove U-V covers, expose ways and screws - clean and lubricate. Disassemble and glass bead upper and lower head pieces - remove all calcium buildup and oxidation. Send work table out for media blast. Remove arm and tapering device. Rework auto threader. Remove work tank, send out for Media Blast and powder coat. While disassembled, strip, clean, prep and paint table area, machine tool casting and sheet metal panels. Reassemble all components. Realign tapering assembly. Rebuild wire drive assembly.
